I offer warm and supportive counseling for adults and adolescents dealing with difficult life situations or seeking personal growth. This may include finding meaning in one's life, prioritizing goals, feeling overwhelmed with day to day responsibilities and obligations, parenting concerns, relationship issues, peer pressure, depression, anxiety, trauma, coping with grief and loss, or any combination of these. Therapy can take place in a one-on-one or family format.

Additionally, I counsel people affected by short-term or chronic illness. I work with individuals living with an illness as well as caregivers, partners, families, or friends. People affected by an illness, personally or through someone close to them, may face many new challenges. They may question their sense of self and struggle to make meaning out of their circumstances. They may experience feelings of isolation, alienation, depression, and anxiety. Therapy can help people work through the psychological aspects of illness and enable them to create effective and healthy ways of coping.
